I just installed the newest version of iDemo today and whenever I attempt to use it I immediately get a prompt from Visual Studio 2010 stating that a problem has occurred and asking me whether or not I would like to debug the program. I have not installed any previous versions of iDemo.

The error message simply states the following:
"An unhandled Microsoft .NET Framework exception occurred in iDemo.exe [2148]"

This same prompt also gives me the opportunity to debug using a "New instance of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010"

My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System - Windows XP Media Center Edition 2003 - Updated to SP3
.NET Framework Version - 4.0 iDemo Version - 1.7
CPU - AMD Athlon XP 2400+ at 2 GHz
RAM - 1 GB

Should any further information need to be provided I would be more than happy to comply.

Thank you,
Edward

    Hi Edward,

we've found out that most of the time when a .NET framework exception happens it's related to the Bonjour service not running. iDemo needs it.
Could you check in your services if Bonjour is present & running?

    Thanks

It was indeed the Bonjour service not running upon starting the service iDemo is working. Thank you for your help.
